We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with design and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all on-site construction operations in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and trade contracts.
Oversee quality control to ensure materials and workmanship meet project standards.
Schedule and coordinate trades, suppliers, materials, equipment, and labour to maintain project timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company safety policies.
Implement and enforce LVS’s Safety Program and develop site-specific safety plans as required.
Attend weekly site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Review and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and project reports.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Construction Management or journeyperson certification in a related trade is considered an asset.
Minimum of three (3) years of Canadian experience in a construction supervisory role.
Strong working knowledge of Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
Physically capable of working in an active construction environment.
Valid driver’s license required.
