Concrete Finishers Foreman/woman
Job Description
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in cement finishing, and workers who install and service commercial, civil and residential customers
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors
Communicate with the other onsite trades, contractors and laisse as necessary
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Assist with setting up forms, removing and ensuring work sites are clean
Requisition materials and supplies for jobs when required
Read and interpreted blueprints for jobs to be completed
Help out the crew when necessary especially when people do not show up
Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Tracking time sheets and material usage
Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
Report production tracking for management as required and control field logging/reports daily
May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Requirements
5 years of experience as a concrete finisher or 2 years min concrete foreman experience
Punctual
Attention to detail
Able to lead by example and empower employees to be their best
Strong conflict resolution ability
Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed to support their team
Computer literate
Strong Communication and listening skills
Drivers licence is required
Must be able to provide references to confirm work experience
