About this role
🌾 Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
🚜 Oversee planting, cultivating, irrigating, spraying, and harvesting activities across the farm operation.
✅ Monitor crop conditions and farm tasks to support quality standards and timely production.
📋 Maintain production, inventory, and work records for daily farm operations.
🛡️ Ensure farm safety, food safety, and biosecurity procedures are followed at all times.
🔧 Check equipment and basic machinery upkeep to help keep operations running smoothly.
👥 Provide day-to-day direction, training, and support to staff in the field.
📦 Help with loading, unloading, and organizing supplies, harvested products, and stored materials.
Requirements
🎓 Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
⏳ At least 1 year of farm or agricultural experience, including some supervisory responsibility.
🚜 Comfortable operating and overseeing farm machinery, tools, and hand equipment.
💪 Able to work outdoors in varying weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
🤝 Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
👀 Good attention to detail for crop quality, safety, and record-keeping.
🚗 A valid class 5 driver’s licence is an asset for travel between work locations.

Terms of employment
Full-time, permanent position with a 3-month probationary period. Work is performed on-site in a rural farm setting and may include early mornings, weekends, and seasonal overtime as required.
