About this role
🍸 Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to La Pampa Empanadas’ standards.
🤝 Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide friendly, attentive service at the bar.
📋 Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation.
🧼 Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar, equipment, and service areas.
📦 Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and receive bar stock as needed.
✅ Ensure responsible alcohol service, age verification, and compliance with provincial liquor regulations.
📊 Track sales, manage product usage, and report operational issues to ownership or management.
🛠️ Train and support bar staff on service standards, drink preparation, and guest experience.
Requirements
🎓 High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
⏳ 2 to 4 years of experience in bartending or bar supervision is required.
🍹 Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service.
🤝 Excellent customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
💻 Ability to manage POS transactions, cashouts, and basic inventory tracking.
👀 Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, quality, and consistency.
🚦 Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
