About this role
🍦 Greet customers promptly and take food and drink orders at the counter or drive-thru window.
🥤 Prepare soft-serve, milkshakes, floats, burgers, fries, hot dogs, and other menu items to order.
✅ Portion, garnish, and package items consistently according to Dairy Freeze standards.
💵 Handle cash, debit, and other payment transactions accurately and balance the till as required.
🚦 Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized service area, including counters, equipment, and dining surfaces.
📦 Restock toppings, condiments, paper goods, and food service supplies throughout the shift.
🧼 Follow food safety, allergen awareness, and safe food-handling procedures at all times.
🤝 Work closely with kitchen staff and teammates to keep service moving during busy periods.
Requirements
👀 Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow customer orders accurately.
💪 Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced setting, and lift moderate weights.
🤝 Friendly customer service skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
🧼 Willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
⏳ Previous experience in food service, counter service, or quick-service restaurants is an asset.
🗣️ Good communication skills in English are required to interact with customers and coworkers.
🛠️ Comfort working with standard restaurant equipment such as fryers, grills, blenders, and soft-serve machines.
