About this role
🔲 Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood, carpet, and other flooring materials to company standards in residential, commercial, and renovation projects.
📏 Measure, mark, cut, fit, and install flooring and tile materials accurately to ensure proper layout, alignment, transitions, and a professional finished appearance.
🧰 Prepare subfloors and installation surfaces by cleaning, leveling, patching, moisture testing, and completing minor repairs to ensure long-lasting flooring performance.
🧱 Apply adhesives, mortars, underlayments, grout, and other installation materials according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
🔧 Operate flooring and tile installation equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining high workmanship and productivity standards.
🚚 Travel to job sites within approximately 150 km of the branch to complete flooring installation, replacement, repair, and renovation projects as scheduled.
🧹 Remove existing flooring materials, tile, carpet, underlay, and job-site debris while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
✅ Inspect completed flooring and tile installations to verify quality, proper adhesion, levelness, spacing, transitions, and overall customer satisfaction.
📐 Read and interpret floor plans, specifications, measurements, and installation layouts to ensure projects are completed accurately and according to design requirements.
🤝 Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members regarding project timelines, site conditions, flooring selections, and installation progress.
Requirements
🛠️ Must have your own tools suitable for flooring and tile installation work.
🚗 Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are required.
⏳ 3 years experience in floor covering installation or with tile setting experience is required
💪 Ability to lift materials, work on your feet, and perform physically demanding tasks.
🔧 Experience with tile materials such as marble, granite, slate and other.
👀 Strong attention to detail and commitment to neat, accurate workmanship.
🧱 Ability to work independently and manage installation tasks on-site.
📍 Willingness to travel within a 150 km service area from the company location.
🤝 Good customer-service skills and professional communication are expected.

Terms of employment
Full-time permanent employment. Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and travel to job sites within 150 km. Wage based on experience, with a standard probationary period.
Benefits
