About this role

  • πŸ”§ Perform wheel alignments, steering adjustments, and related chassis inspections to factory and customer specifications.

  • πŸš— Diagnose alignment, suspension, tire wear, and handling concerns using alignment equipment and road-test feedback.

  • πŸ› οΈ Inspect suspension and steering components for wear, damage, or unsafe conditions and recommend required repairs.

  • πŸ“‹ Document measurements, repairs completed, and service recommendations accurately on work orders.

  • βš™οΈ Work with service advisors and technicians to prioritize jobs and keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently.

  • 🚦 Follow shop safety procedures, lift safety practices, and equipment operating standards at all times.

  • 🧰 Maintain alignment tools, service equipment, and a clean work area in good working order.

  • 🀝 Provide professional, courteous service when explaining alignment findings or repair needs to customers as needed.

Requirements

  • πŸŽ“ High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; automotive training or a related trades background is an asset.

  • ⏳ Previous experience in automotive service, alignment, suspension, or tire repair is an asset.

  • πŸ’» Ability to use alignment machines, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and common shop software.

  • πŸ” Strong attention to detail with accurate measurement and inspection habits.

  • πŸ’ͺ Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in a busy shop environment throughout the day.

  • πŸš— Valid driver’s licence and a clean, insurable driving record are preferred.

  • 🀝 Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach to service work.

Terms of employment

Permanent, full-time position with a standard probationary period. Scheduled shifts may include some Saturdays depending on shop demand.
