About this role
🔧 Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires for passenger vehicles and light trucks.
🚗 Inspect tires, wheels, valves, and rims for wear, damage, and safe fitment.
✅ Perform tire repairs, replacements, and pressure checks according to shop standards.
🚦 Support seasonal tire changeovers while keeping vehicles organized and work areas safe.
🛠️ Assist with basic lube and general shop duties as needed during busy periods.
📋 Complete work orders accurately and communicate any safety concerns or recommended follow-up.
🧼 Keep bays, tools, and equipment clean and maintained for daily operations.
🤝 Provide courteous customer service when moving vehicles, explaining service steps, or assisting the team.
Requirements
⏳ Previous tire shop, automotive service, or general repair experience is an asset.
🎓 High school completion or equivalent is preferred.
💪 Ability to lift tires, work on your feet, and handle a physically demanding environment.
🔧 Comfortable using tire service equipment, hand tools, and basic shop machinery.
👀 Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
🤝 Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude.
🚗 Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are an asset.

Terms of employment
Permanent, full-time position with a standard probationary period; work schedule may include some weekends and seasonal overtime during peak tire-change periods.
