About this role
๐ฅ Supervise and coordinate the daily work of front-line restaurant team members during busy service periods.
๐ Oversee food preparation, order assembly, and counter service to help maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency.
โ Monitor product quality, portioning, and presentation to support A&W standards.
๐ฆ Keep service flowing by assigning stations, balancing breaks, and responding quickly to line-ups or rushes.
๐ Train new staff on routines, safety practices, customer service expectations, and restaurant procedures.
๐งผ Support cleanliness and sanitation standards across food prep, service, and guest areas.
๐ต Assist with cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-shift balancing as required.
๐ Communicate staffing, supply, and operational concerns to management to help the restaurant run smoothly.
๐ Other duties that apply as well as work in the role that you supervisor if required.
Requirements
โณ3 years of experience in food service, quick service, or a similar supervisory environment or 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant.
๐ Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is an asset.
๐ค Strong leadership and team coordination skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
๐ Good attention to detail for food quality, cleanliness, and customer orders.
๐ช Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a busy kitchen environment.
๐ป Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic workplace communication systems.
๐ Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
๐ Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-first attitude are essential.
