About this role
🤝 Lead day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure a consistent guest experience, strong team performance, and compliance with A&W standards.
📊 Review sales, labour, and food-cost results, and take action to protect profitability and service quality.
🗓️ Build effective schedules and assign staff to positions and shift roles based on business needs.
👥 Recruit, train, coach, and support team members to maintain a productive and respectful workplace.
🚦 Promote safe work practices and support compliance with provincial health, safety, and workplace regulations.
🔧 Monitor equipment, dining areas, and back-of-house facilities, and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
✅ Maintain high standards for cleanliness, product consistency, speed of service, and customer satisfaction.
📋 Prepare reports, handle administrative tasks, and keep accurate records related to operations and staffing.
🤝 Other duties that are required including doing the jobs of those managed when necessary.
Requirements
🎓 Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent; post-secondary training in business, hospitality, or management is an asset.
⏳ Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-paced quick-service environment.
💻 Strong working knowledge of restaurant operating systems, scheduling, and basic accounting or P&L review.
🤝 Proven leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to build a positive team culture.
👀 Strong attention to detail with a focus on food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
🚗 Reliable transportation to and from the Williams Lake location and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
💪 Ability to stand for extended periods and handle occasional lifting of up to 25 kg.
