About this role
π Supervise daily restaurant operations to keep service fast, friendly, and on brand for A&W guests.
π₯ Lead, coach, and support crew members during shifts to maintain strong teamwork and a positive, upbeat workplace.
π§Ύ Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily shift reporting with accuracy and accountability.
π§Ό Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently followed throughout the restaurant.
β±οΈ Coordinate labour and station coverage to meet busy rush periods while keeping guest wait times low.
π Required to preform same duties as those supervised when required.
π Train new team members on menu items, guest service standards, policies, and operational procedures.
β Monitor product quality, portioning, and order accuracy so every guest receives a great meal every time.
π€ Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed to protect the guest experience.
π¦ Track inventory usage and restocking needs, and communicate supply or equipment issues to management promptly.
πͺTrain new employees that are hired to transfer skills.

Requirements
π Completion of secondary school is preferred, with post-secondary hospitality or food service training considered an asset.
β³ 2-3 years of experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, or 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
π Proven ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and maintain a fun, respectful work environment.
π§ Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills in a fast-paced setting.
π» Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic reporting or inventory software.
π¦ Good understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and cleanliness standards.
π Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
πͺ Ability to stand for long periods and keep pace during busy service periods.
